A Peaceful Home (edited)

A random piece of art for when I saw [link] OC. I dunno why but I felt compelled to make this. Originally the lava was supposed to be water,but I kinda screwed up and it looked like lava so I just went with it. ^_^;
Anyway any critique or tips or suggestions would help a lot. Thank you.

P.S. Anyone know how to properly link deviantart accounts with the avatar, cuz I dunno how.
